Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Pay Package (Weekly - 36 Hours)
- Weekly Gross: $2,362.00
- Weekly Taxable: $1,116.00
- Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,246.00
Hourly Breakdown
- Taxable Rate: $31.00/hr
- Blended Rate: $65.61/hr
- Overtime Rate: $46.50/hr
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Geneva, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients in an acute care setting. This position requires strong assessment skills, cardiac monitoring experience, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced patient care environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med Surg and Telemetry patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry readings
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Job Requirements
- Active New York State RN License
- BLS Certification Required
- ACLS Certification Required
- NIHSS Certification Required
- Minimum 2 Years of Recent RN Experience
- Med Surg and/or Telemetry experience preferred
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
