Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems across multiple locations.
- Diagnose technical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Utilise hand tools and specialised equipment to perform repairs and adjustments.
- Troubleshoot computer hardware, software, networking issues, and perform computer repairs as required.
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to identify faults and implement solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal operation of machinery and systems.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on system operation and troubleshooting procedures.
- Document service activities accurately in company systems and report on unresolved issues for further escalation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in equipment repair, maintenance, or related field service roles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools.
- Ability to read technical schematics and manuals effectively.
- Experience with plc repair and system diagnostics is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Valid driving licence is essential for travel between client sites.
