JOB REQUIREMENTS: CW Solutions has an opening for a part-time Energy
Assistance Intake Worker to provide Intake and eligibility processing
services for the Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP). When
not fulfilling WHEAP functions, this position provides back-up support
to the front desk reception team. This position is embedded in Wood
County Human Services Department at the Wisconsin Rapids location. If

following are the essential job functions for the Program Support
Specialist. WHEAP Intake Functions \*Complete energy assistance
eligibility determinations utilizing the state computer system,
including those submitted electronically in the system and those
received locally through paper applications. \*Conduct interviews and
assessments for energy assistance customers over the telephone and
in-person. \*Refer customers to necessary community resources, including
the FSET program. \*Assist customers needing proactive and crisis
benefits. \*Schedule appointments for energy assistance interviews at
Outreach locations throughout the county. Front Desk Functions \*Welcome
customers who walk into the office, determine their needs and direct
them to the appropriate personnel. \*Answer the phone, identify the
customer needs and either address those needs or transfer to the
appropriate personnel. \*Reschedule missed appointments. \*Complete
reminder calls, texts and emails for customer appointments. \*Mail out
notices, greeting cards and other correspondence to customers.
\*Document any customer interactions or actions in the CWW computer
system. \*Provide support to customers in the resource area including
help with the resource computers. \*Manage customer situations,
responding compassionately and promptly to customer needs. \*Maintain
safe and clean reception area, presenting the department in a positive
and professional manner. \*Receive, sort and route internal and external
mail. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred: Associate Degree
Experience: One year of customer service or reception experience.
Transportation: Must have transportation to come to work daily and to
travel for off-site meetings. Essential Skills: \*Outstanding customer
service skills. \*Highly organized and efficient. \*Ability to quickly
switch between job tasks to meet the changing needs of the office.
\*Ability to work independently with strong sense of focus,
task-oriented, nonjudgmental, open-minded qualities, and a clear sense
of boundaries. \*Excellent keyboarding and computer skills. \*Very good
written and verbal communication skills. \*Ability to establish rapport
