Girls Soccer Head Coach - Varsity
CVU is seeking a Varsity Girls Soccer Coach for the 2025 season. The Varsity Girls Soccer coach will be responsible for developing and leading the girls soccer program (Varsity and JV), fostering athletic and personal growth among student-athletes, and promoting a culture of sportsmanship and achievement. This individual will plan and execute practices, oversee game strategy, and mentor players while upholding the values of CVU and CVSD.
Qualifications:
- Prior high school and/or college playing and/or coaching experience.
- Ability to demonstrate and communicate an understanding of the fundamentals, rules, and regulations essential to building a successful soccer program
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of safety, fitness and training for soccer.
- Ability to work well and build positive relationships with the coaching staff, administration, student-athletes, parents, and the community.
- Ability to process budget requests, team tryouts and selection, uniform and equipment distribution and collections, and other duties as required.
Must be, or become before the start of the season, a Vermont Principals Association (VPA) certified coach and have completed all VPA required certifications with NFHS, as well as CPR/AED certifications.
The season begins on Thursday August 14, 2025 and goes until early November. The position is a Category II co-curricular position and will be paid according to the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
