Career Academy Teacher (One-Year, 2026-2027) Needed
Location: Champlain Valley Union High School

Champlain Valley Union High School (CVU) is seeking an innovative, energetic, and collaborative Career Academy Teacher (One-Year, 2026-2027) to join our community of learners for FY27. We are looking for a certified high school teacher to lead an alternative academic approach for students interested in career exploration through project-based and hands-on learning.
In this role, you will be a dynamic practitioner dedicated to exposing students to the knowledge and skills of future career pathways while providing core academic skills in personalized ways.
Primary Responsibilities
- Leading and facilitating a program that provides an alternative academic approach through project-based and hands-on learning.
- Providing core academic skills instruction utilizing personalized learning methods.
- Co-designing and implementing project-based learning opportunities aligned with proficiency-based learning practices.
- Fostering supportive relationships and establishing friendly, professional rapport with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ensuring students are exposed to the necessary knowledge and skills for diverse future career pathways.

- Required Certification: Applicants must possess a current high school teaching license.
