- Support IV infusion procedures by preparing sterile solutions following aseptic techniques and hospital protocols
- Provide excellent patient service by answering medication inquiries and coordinating medication administration schedules
- Maintain precise inventory records, restock supplies, and manage medication storage in accordance with safety guidelines
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate patient care activities, including medication reconciliation and documentation of medical records
- Adhere strictly to safety standards related to aseptic technique, medication handling, and critical care procedures
Experience
- Prior pharmacy technician experience in LTC pharmacy or hospital settings is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and acute care procedures
- Critical care experience or familiarity with ICU protocols enhances your ability to support complex patient needs
- Experience with IV infusion preparation and aseptic technique is a strong asset
