CVR is looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated HCV Enforcement Coordinator to play a critical role in upholding the integrity of the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program. This position enforces program compliance, supports intent-to-terminate (ITT) processes, and ensures adherence to HUD and Milwaukee Housing Authority guidelines.

What You’ll Do:

Review and process HCV participant terminations and reinstatements

Investigate and document violations of HCV program requirements

Conduct participant meetings and explain Family Obligations and HUD regulations

Prepare detailed case files and participate in Informal Hearings

Collaborate with Housing Specialists and Hearing Presenters on ITT determinations

Respond to inquiries from tenants, owners, and colleagues
-
Process manual payment adjustments and maintain accurate records

Monitor and follow up on fraud hotline complaints

Prepare reports and maintain Excel spreadsheets

Support special projects and contribute to continuous program improvement
What You Bring:

Knowledge of HCV program regulations and administrative processes

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and handle confidential situations with professionalism

Comfort with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and database systems

Excellent time management and attention to detail

Confidence in presenting, testifying, and collaborating across departments
Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree or college coursework in Business, Social Work, or Public Administration

3–5 years of experience in housing programs, compliance, or property management

Previous work in high-volume, client-focused environments

Understanding of public housing or nonprofit services is a plus
