Summary
As a Cemetery Worker at CVI Funeral Supply, you will play a vital role in the graveside funeral service. This position is essential to our mission of providing dignified services and support to those in need.
Responsibilities
- Graveside installation of equipment including the tent, greens, chairs, lowering device and casket placer for outer burial containers.
- Lower the casket into the burial container and then into the grave once the service is complete.
- Installation of monuments and vases at designated spot in cemetery.
- Installation of in-ground mausoleums in cemetery.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of cemetery areas you are working in.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to pass a physical and obtain a medical card.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
