Senior Manager, Benefits

Location: Strong preference for Seattle, WA (hybrid or remote within the Puget Sound region)

Compensation: Up to ~$180K base 40–50% bonus

The Senior Benefits Manager oversees all benefits strategy and operations across a handful of countries. Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards, this leader manages a team of five benefits professionals and ensures smooth, compliant, and employee-focused delivery of health & welfare programs, vendor partnerships, and annual benefits cycles.

This role requires deep experience supporting large, multi-location workforces (minimum 5,000 employees), including hourly and international populations. Strong leadership presence, communication skills, and the ability to guide organizational change are essential.

• Lead strategy, administration, and optimization of global benefits programs.

• Manage and develop a team of five benefits specialists.

• Oversee vendor relationships, plan design, compliance, open enrollment, and escalations.

• Support upcoming benefits program changes and potential vendor transitions.

• Utilize data and HR systems to drive decisions and improve processes.

• Partner with HR and business leaders to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.

  Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of people management experience required.

  • Experience supporting benefits for organizations with 5,000 employees.

  • Knowledge of both U.S. and Canadian benefits required; international exposure preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills, communication, and executive presence.

  • Comfortable navigating change and operating in a fast-paced, growing environment.
