About the Opportunity
This role serves as a key right-hand to the Cost Accounting Manager, supporting a key manufacturing division. You’ll play a critical role in cost analysis, inventory valuation, and operational reporting, with strong visibility to leadership and the ability to influence decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing costs and identify efficiency opportunities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual cost accounting close processes
- Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights
- Maintain cost accounting systems and ensure GL accuracy
- Evaluate labor and equipment utilization across operations
- Manage inventory valuation and reporting
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and cost accounting standards
- Partner cross-functionally with operations and budgeting teams
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 5 years of cost accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and manufacturing accounting
- Experience in production/manufacturing environments
- Advanced data analysis and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- MBA or CMA
- Experience with SAP
