We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead engineering, construction, and capital projects across our Project Management Office (PMO) and Project Development & Construction Management (PDCM) teams. This role serves as a primary point of accountability for project scope, budget, schedule, risk, and overall execution, working closely with clients, engineers, contractors, vendors, and internal leadership.
The Project Manager will lead projects from early planning and development through design, construction, and project closeout. Depending on project needs and experience, this individual may support or lead projects within PMO, PDCM, or both. This is an opportunity for a strong project leader to take increasing ownership of complex projects and grow with the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects through planning, concept development, pre-FEED/FEED, detailed design, procurement, construction, and closeout
- Establish and manage project scope, budget, schedule, milestones, and deliverables
- Develop and maintain project execution plans, forecasts, and project controls
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, design, construction, and project teams
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, contractors, suppliers, OEM vendors, and other project stakeholders
- Lead project meetings, coordinate action items, and drive accountability and follow-through
- Monitor project performance and provide regular progress updates, forecasts, and executive-level reporting
- Review and manage project changes, including change orders, scope changes, cost impacts, and schedule impacts
- Coordinate with Project Schedulers, Project Coordinators, Engineers, and other project resources to maintain alignment across project activities
- Oversee construction administration, field coordination, contractor activities, and resolution of project issues
- Coordinate procurement, vendor activities, material tracking, and project logistics as needed
- Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
- Engage regularly with project sites and field teams to support safe, efficient, and effective project execution
- Identify potential delays or issues early and develop corrective actions in coordination with project stakeholders
- Support project closeout, including final documentation, lessons learned, and turnover activities
- Build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders while representing the company professionally
- Contribute to improving project management processes, tools, and best practices across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field
- 5 years of progressively responsible project management experience in engineering, construction, industrial, or capital projects
- Demonstrated experience managing project scope, cost, schedule, risk, and change
- Strong understanding of project management principles, project controls, and project execution
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple project disciplines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accountability for project outcomes
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365; familiarity with project management, scheduling, or project controls software preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
Preferred Experience
- Experience managing industrial, manufacturing, heavy commercial, or other capital projects
- Experience serving as an Owner’s Representative
- Experience with pre-FEED, FEED, detailed design, and construction phases
- Experience working with EPC, EPCM, design-build, or other project delivery models
- Experience with project forecasting, cost control, and schedule management
- Experience coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction activities
- Engineering or other technical background
- PMP or other recognized project management certification
- Demonstrated experience taking ownership of increasingly complex projects and responsibilities
