Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy is a non-profit ministry dedicated to Educating and Cultivating Servants for Christ. We are a middle and senior high school committed to high academic standards. Our biblically integrated, college-preparatory curriculum is delivered by a dedicated staff of Christian professionals committed to teaching from a biblical worldview and philosophy. We are committed to providing our students with experiences that will foster in them a servant’s heart, including extra-curricular activities, inter-scholastic athletics, music, theater, short-term mission trips, and numerous service opportunities. CVCA aims to create a Christian school community characterized by transforming relationships that produce a lived-out faith in the lives of our students, faculty, and staff.

This position fosters the spiritual life of students by regularly providing avenues for spiritual growth and gospel transformation through Biblically based teaching, student service/missions trips, intentional community, informal counseling, and mentoring.

- Effectively represents Jesus Christ to those within both personal and professional spheres of influence

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Encourage young women to follow hard after Christ. This is best done through relationships, so this position is to be involved in students’ lives in a discipleship relationship. (Women’s Bible Study, Small Group Lunch Meetings, 1- 1 discipleship time)
- Lead and participate in Chapel as needed. (Specifically, lead and manage the split Chapel for our female students)
- Help direct Fall Fest and any needed girls’ retreats.
- Assist the Student Ministries team in planning any school-wide retreats.
- Offer Biblical wisdom regarding major and minor crises of both students and faculty. This is often done in conjunction with the administrative team and the Student Ministries Office.
- Partner with the Middle School Student Ministry Female Coordinator to support the middle school team, students, and families.
- Teaching experience is preferred as we work to have our SMO team in the classroom.
- Support our faculty and staff as they engage with students and support them as needed.
