STARTING DATE: August 2026
SALARY: Appropriate placement on the Teachers' Salary Schedule, commensurate with experience and education, ranging from $51,573.00 to $92,896.00 annually.
REPORTS TO: Principal or Designee

WORK-WEEK/YEAR: 184 days per year as per the Board-adopted calendar
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Valid Ohio Teacher Licensure/Certification, Business Administration & Management #140800, or ability to obtain. A BA in Business Administration. A minimum of five years of experience in a related field, with three of the last five being most recent. Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification or the ability to obtain. Adobe Certified Specialist (ASA) certification or the ability to obtain. Internet and Computing Core (IC3) certification or the ability to obtain. QuickBooks and/or accounting skills. Knowledge of both traditional and online marketing strategies. Entrepreneurship and/or business management experience. Familiarity with technology integration (learning management systems). Familiarity/Experience with multimedia image management, design techniques, creating and editing digital graphics. Effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to build rapport with high school students and many other stakeholders. Strong organizational skills. Ability to pass a criminal background check. Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in various conditions. Ability to work cooperatively with a team. Effective written and oral communication skills. Valid Driver’s License. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Outlook.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Master's in business administration or higher. Knowledge of career technical education and personal knowledge of the Medina County Career Center successes and history. Prior teaching experience preferred, with knowledge of instructional techniques and classroom management. Industry credentials and/or apprenticeship in the relevant ?eld. Involvement in community service or coaching/mentoring of children under 18 years of age. Possess First-Aid certification.
