Role Description
The Snow Remover role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pueblo, CO. This role involves clearing snow and ice from driveways, walkways, parking lots, and other designated areas using shovels, snow blowers, and other equipment. Daily tasks include applying salt or de-icing materials, inspecting work areas for safety, and maintaining tools and machinery in good working order. The Snow Remover responds to snow events, often in early morning, late evening, or weekend hours, and works in coordination with the broader maintenance team to ensure timely and thorough service.
Qualifications
- Ability to safely operate snow removal equipment (e.g., shovels, snow blowers, spreaders) and perform basic equipment checks.
- Strong physical stamina, including the ability to lift, carry, and work in cold and snowy outdoor conditions for extended periods.
- Attention to safety, including awareness of slip, trip, and fall hazards and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Pueblo, CO, and willingness to work flexible hours based on weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Prior experience in snow removal, landscaping, or outdoor property maintenance is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial; willingness to participate in on-the-job training.
Requirements
• Must provide your own reliable 4x4 truck equipped with a snowplow attachment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be available for snow removal during snowstorms, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be dependable, responsive, and able to work in cold and severe weather conditions.
• Previous snowplowing experience preferred.
• Must provide your own fuel and maintain your vehicle and equipment.
Compensation
$40-50 per hour.
Fuel is paid by the company.
