Cutting Edge Homes LLC is a family-owned construction company serving West Michigan. We are looking for a skilled, dependable Fleet & Equipment Mechanic to help keep our trucks, trailers, and construction equipment operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on company trucks, trailers, and construction equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues.
- Complete DOT inspections and ensure vehicles remain compliant.
- Perform brake, suspension, steering, and drivetrain repairs.
- Service excavators, skid steers, loaders, trailers, and other construction equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.
- Coordinate repairs with outside vendors when necessary.
- Respond to occasional field service needs.
Qualifications
- Experience maintaining heavy-duty trucks and construction equipment.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and trailer repair.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical problems efficiently.
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
- CDL or ability to obtain a CDL is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and positive attitude.
