Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fleet Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge in automotive diagnostics and repair, with experience in various mechanical systems, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles and equipment.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on automotive systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair and maintain hydraulic systems as well as troubleshoot issues related to hydraulics.
- Work with schematics to understand complex mechanical systems and perform necessary repairs.
- Align vehicles and equipment to manufacturer specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to address mechanical issues effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Document all repairs and maintenance performed on equipment for record-keeping purposes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mechanic in an automotive or equipment repair setting.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to mechanics are advantageous.
