SUMMARY: The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to both remote and onsite users in accordance with established procedures and service standards. This role includes deploying and maintaining hardware and software, resolving technical issues, supporting IT projects, and ensuring all activities are well-documented and aligned with company objectives.
Position-Specific Responsibilities:
- Deploy PCs, laptops, and peripherals, including new setups and redeployment of existing equipment
- Install and configure client operating systems and software as per IT standards and direction
- Perform hardware and software maintenance, including routine upgrades and troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets (hardware and software)
- Collaborate with the IT team on various technical projects
- Create and maintain network documentation; provide end-user training when needed
- Support office moves or new site setups
- Perform other duties as assigned by IT leadership

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree in a related field preferred
- 2 years of IT support experience required
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record (some travel to client sites or occasional out-of-state travel may be required)
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and driving record check
- Able to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, overnights, or weekends as needed
- Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment (including overhead), and performing physical tasks such as bending, crawling, kneeling, and working in confined spaces or on ladders
