Job Summary
**If the individual is under the age of 18 and currently enrolled in high school, they must meet all work permit eligibility requirements established by their school district** Under general supervision, the Lifeguard monitors aquatic facilities to ensure the safety of students, staff, and community members; prevents and responds to emergencies; enforces all pool rules and regulations; provides swim lessons under the general supervision of the lead lifeguard and pool manager; and performs related duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Resume 3 Letters of recommendation Bilingual preferred (Spanish) Possession of a valid American Red Cross (or equivalent) Lifeguard Training and First Aid certification. Possession of a valid American Red Cross (or equivalent) CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification. Possession of or ability to obtain a Title 22 First Aid for Public Safety Personnel certification is desirable.
