Duties
- Assist the center director in managing daily operations, including staff scheduling, program planning, and resource allocation
- Support the implementation of curriculum and educational activities that promote developmental milestones and learning outcomes
- Supervise teaching staff, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and organizational policies
- Engage with families to foster positive relationships, address concerns, and communicate children's progress effectively
- Coordinate staff training sessions focused on best practices in early childhood education and child safety
- Oversee enrollment processes, maintain accurate records, and support marketing efforts to attract new families
Experience
- Higher education teaching experience or background in early childhood education preferred
- Proven experience in education administration within a childcare or preschool setting
- Prior university experience or involvement in academic settings is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with young children and their families
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising educational staff and managing team dynamics
- Knowledge of licensing requirements for childcare centers and familiarity with curriculum standards
