Position Summary
The Food Truck Attendant provides friendly, efficient, and high-quality service to members and guests utilizing the club's on-property food truck during golf play and clubhouse visits. This position is responsible for food and beverage service, operating the point-of-sale system, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards, and ensuring a positive and professional experience consistent with the expectations of a private club environment.
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and process transactions through the POS system.
- Prepare and serve menu items in accordance with club recipes and presentation standards.
- Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly in compliance with state and club regulations.
- Verify identification and ensure all alcohol service laws are strictly followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck, service windows, and surrounding area.
- Restock inventory, supplies, and beverages as needed throughout service.
- Monitor food temperatures and follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and securing equipment.
- Provide quick, efficient service to accommodate golfers during play.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Previous food service, bar, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards.
- Alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, tournaments, and peak golf season.
