Position Overview:
Our food and beverage team at Cutalong at Tributer Resort is seeking a friendly, efficient, and customer-oriented Bartender to join our team. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks to guests in a timely and friendly manner, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and ensuring compliance with all beverage and alcohol regulations. A successful candidate will bring energy, professionalism, and a passion for hospitality to every shift.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Greet guests, take drink orders, and provide friendly and attentive service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and glassware
- Check identification to verify legal age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Manage bar inventory and restock supplies as needed
- Process transactions using POS system; handle cash and credit card payments accurately
- Stay updated on menu items, promotions, and specials
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service laws and procedures
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest service
- Uphold a positive and energetic atmosphere at the bar
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Proven experience as a craft bartender preferred (1 years ideal)
- BarSmarts certification highly desirable
- State alcohol card required
- Knowledge of popular cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems
- Must meet minimum age requirements for serving alcohol
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Salary: $15 per hour (hourly) tips
