The Role: What You’ll Be Doing
We are looking for someone with basic landscaping experience who takes pride in a job well done. Your daily tasks will include:
- Supervise and lead a crew in the installation of hardscape features including patios, walkways, retaining walls, stairs, driveways, and outdoor living spaces
- Coordinate daily job site activities, including material staging, equipment use, and labor assignments
- Ensure all work is performed to company quality standards and client expectations
- Train and mentor crew members on proper installation techniques and safety procedures
- Operate and oversee the use of tools and machinery such as skid steers, compactors, saws, and laser levels
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized job site
- Troubleshoot issues in the field and make real-time decisions to keep projects moving efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and daily job logs
Who You Are
- 3 years of experience in hardscape or landscape construction, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of hardscape installation techniques and materials (pavers, natural stone, concrete, etc.)
- Ability to read and execute plans and layouts accurately
- Experience operating construction equipment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
