CustomSmart Homes & Solar, a local construction company, is seeking to hire an experienced electrician with residential, commercial, and solar installation experience to help build homes and solar and energy storage systems in the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas.
Candidates must have their own hand tools and dependable transportation.

Competitive compensation is available. Pay is based upon skills and abilities.
Starting Pay: $22-$25 per hour.
A valid driver's license and vehicle is required for the job.

Schedule:
· Monday through Friday
· Some overtime can be expected
Experience:
· Electrical technology: 3-5 year (Preferred)
· Solar installation experience helpful
· Construction Experience: 2-3 years (Preferred)
· Limited (LLE) and/or Unlimited Electrical License (CE) is a plus – Tennessee and Virginia
· Leadership skills will play a large part in employment
License/Certification:
· Driver's License (Required)

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with NEC standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment like voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute electrical installations on construction sites.
- Lead and mentor junior electricians while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Participate in solar installation projects, leveraging both residential & commercial electrical experience.
