We are a well-established customs brokerage firm located in South San Francisco, specializing in facilitating international trade. We are seeking full-time entry-level professionals to join our dynamic team. Position Responsibilities
- Data Entry: Input shipment data accurately into the web-based ABI system, NETCHB.
- Documentation Preparation: Compile and prepare required documents for Customs clearance to ensure timely and proper shipment release.
- Customer Service: Act as a liaison among vendors, clients, and government agencies, maintaining excellent communication to address inquiries and resolve issues.
- Invoicing and Billing: Create and manage invoices and billing statements with precision.
- Administrative Duties: Perform general office tasks such as faxing, copying, printing, and filing to support daily operations.
- Additional Responsibilities: Take on other duties as assigned to support team success.
Qualifications
- Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English is highly preferred, as a significant portion of our clients are based in Asia.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is required, along with a basic understanding of general computer functions.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with exceptional customer service abilities.
- Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy in all tasks, with a focus on quality.
- Work Ethic: A strong sense of responsibility, eagerness to learn, and the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges.
- Flexibility: Availability to work overtime, including occasional weekends, as needed.
