Consumers who use SLS live apart from their guardians in apartments or houses they lease or own. We offer our SLS program to consumers in the West Los Angeles area who use the regional center’s services. SLS can give consumers the assistance they need to live successfully in their homes and be healthy and safe..

**Overview:** We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and providing them with the care and assistance they need to lead fulfilling lives. **Duties:** - Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores - Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals - Implement care plans and support goals tailored to each individual's needs - Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care - Foster independence and community integration for individuals with disabilities **Requirements:** - Experience or willingness to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia - Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care tasks - Ability to lift and transfer individuals safely when needed - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people - Previous experience in social work, home care, senior care, or direct support is a plus Joining our team as a Direct Support Professional offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
