At Custom Sheetmetal & Roofing, Inc., we are looking for a dedicated person to complement our team. We would like to consider your resume if you have 1 or more years of office experience, computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook, and the strong ability to take initiative.

Applicant must have a strong capacity to handle varying work tasks including phone calls, assisting with accounts receivable and accounts payable duties, filing of paperwork, typing up quotes, and willingness to help with any and all tasks as they arise.

We desire a patient, organized and efficient candidate, willing to exceed expectations at any level of task. A positive attitude and readiness to help out in all aspects of the office needs are characteristics that are a must to succeed in this position.

Our Administrative Assistant will handle day-to-day office operations for our CEO and COO, as well as assist other members of our team on an ongoing basis with communications and any necessary paperwork. Diverse duties include but are not limited to: answering and directing phone calls, assisting with A/R tasks, assisting with A/P tasks, filing of paperwork, typing up quotes, and scanning, faxing, and emailing as needed.

Skills & Experience Required

  • One year of related office experience

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Maintain office appearance
  • Assist with A/R tasks
  • Assist with A/P tasks
  • Filing of paperwork
  • Scan, Fax, E-mail, etc.
  • Maintain shirt/clothing inventory
  • Creates professional communications on behalf of Officers and Estimators in Word, Outlook and our CRM system
  • Reviews and proofs marketing materials, letters and communication pieces
  • Accepts walk-in and phone credit card payments
  • Organizes incoming and outgoing mail and faxes
  • Go-to Person for Office Equipment, Printers, and Telephones
  • Inventory and Order: Office Supplies / Business Cards / Kitchen / Office / Postal / FedEx
  • Maintains inventory and orders office supplies and equipment
  • Other miscellaneous duties: back-up and support as needed

Other Position Details

Commitment: 40 hours per week, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Compensation: Starting hourly range will depend on applicant’s level of experience and skill in key areas, plus benefits.
