Cabinet maker/ Millworker
Custom Millwork & Design Group Inc. (CMD) primarily manufactures custom millwork for medium and large new and renovation projects within the hospitality and assisted living industries across the world. CMD provides superior quality using state-of-the-art computerized machinery, knowledgeable staff and attention to detail. We strive to achieve industry leading standards in all our processes from design, manufacture and install.
CMD is a medium-sized company that offers a friendly and caring work environment. Our goal is to produce innovative, high-quality millwork in any capacity and deliver exceptional customer service from design through installation.
We are currently looking for an Experienced Cabinet Maker / Millworker
Location: Bantam, CT required)
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas:
· Fabricating custom wood cabinetry, associated parts, and projects.
· Set up and operate all types of woodworking machinery.
· Work and communicate with a team or independently as needed.
· Understand and read blueprints, drawings and sketches.
· Forecasting specific material needs as necessary.
· Always adhere to all health and safety requirements.
· Display a professional demeanor, and respect regarding other team members and the product being handled.
· Perform work according to quality standard practices and within a specific time schedule per the shop Foreman.
Requirements and Qualifications:
· Dependable transportation
· Strong organizational skills
· 5 years of experience in equivalent field
· Excellent work ethic and dependability
· Good physical condition, stamina and dexterity
