Job Overview
CHE is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Estimator to join our Residential New Construction Team. This role focuses on developing accurate pricing and scope of work for siding, roofing, and other exterior products. Primary Responsibilities
Bid/Estimate Creation
● Perform markups/takeoffs for exterior trades, primarily siding.
● Build estimates using company standards for labor, materials, and equipment
● Maintain organized documentation for each estimate
● Help ensure estimates are complete and delivered on time
● Support clarification of project details with clients and internal departments
Scope Reviews
● Review plans, photos, measurements, and job information to determine project requirements
● Help identify missing information, scope gaps, and potential job challenges
● Develop clear scopes of work that can be executed by the rest of the team
● Learn exterior materials, assemblies, and installation methods
Coordination & Communication
● Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and internal team members
● Support client experience through clear communication and accurate documentation
● Participate in estimating and production meetings to actively address issues
● Occasionally visit job sites for scope verification and field learning
● Support review of estimated vs actual project data to improve estimating accuracy

● OnScreen Takeoff
● Microsoft Office (Excel/Word)
● Google Workspace (Gmail/Sheets/Drive)
● Asana Task Management
Qualifications:
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
- Extensive knowledge of and application of digitization software
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with Excel, CSV, and tables
- Preferably extensive knowledge of Roofing, Siding, Gutters, and Masonry
- Preferably extensive knowledge of Vinyl, Fiber Cement, AWP, and Panel & Channel Systems.
- Comfortable using CRM programs
Salary Range:
Starting at $55,000 annually
