Field Support Supervisor – Commercial Flooring

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Field Support Supervisor specializing in Commercial Flooring to join our team. Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage field crews engaged in commercial flooring installation projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Coordinate project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or Procore to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to guide installation processes accurately.
• Monitor project progress on-site, conducting regular inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards.
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics to facilitate precise installation and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services aligned with project timelines.
• Enforce OSHA and federal construction safety regulations, conducting safety meetings and training sessions for crew members.
• Oversee project documentation including contracts, change orders, daily reports, and safety records using construction management software such as Prolog or Primavera P6.
• Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, scheduling adjustments, and resource allocation to optimize project outcomes.
• Lead team meetings to communicate project goals, safety updates, and performance expectations clearly and effectively.

Skills

• Extensive experience with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Prolog, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools.
• Strong background in construction site management with a focus on commercial flooring projects.
• Proven ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Skilled in project scheduling, construction estimating, budgeting, and quality control processes.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards along with federal construction safety regulations; adept at implementing safety protocols on-site.
• Demonstrated leadership in supervising teams within a construction management role; excellent crew management skills.
• Effective managerial communication skills for coordinating teams, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics using tools like ohmmeters for electrical components when necessary.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
• Familiarity with construction regulations specific to commercial projects; adept at managing contracts and ensuring compliance.
