Industrial Maintenance Lead – Automation & Controls
Location: Bloomsburg, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Custom Filters Direct is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Lead to support our growing manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining automated production equipment, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.
About the Role
The Industrial Maintenance Lead will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and production teams to support daily maintenance operations, equipment reliability, preventative maintenance programs, and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot and repair automated production equipment
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and controls-related issues
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment (Allen Bradley preferred)
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements
• Respond to equipment downtime and production issues
• Work with production teams to improve equipment performance and efficiency
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Qualifications
• Industrial maintenance experience required
• PLC troubleshooting experience required
• Allen Bradley controls experience preferred
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment preferred
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred
• Experience with conveyors, motors, sensors, relays, and automated systems preferred
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
