Custom Filters Direct is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Lead to support our growing manufacturing operation in Bloomsburg, PA.
This is a hands-on leadership role reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and focused on supporting automated production equipment, troubleshooting machinery issues, and helping maintain efficient operations throughout the facility.
We are looking for someone with strong troubleshooting abilities, industrial maintenance experience, and working knowledge of automation and PLC-controlled equipment who can help support the maintenance team and production floor in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Overtime may be required based on business needs

Position Overview
This role reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and serves as a hands-on lead position supporting daily maintenance operations on the production floor. The Industrial Maintenance Lead will assist with troubleshooting equipment issues, minimizing downtime, supporting preventative maintenance efforts, and helping improve overall equipment reliability and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair automated production equipment
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and controls-related issues
- Support the Maintenance Supervisor with daily maintenance operations
- Help prioritize and respond to production equipment downtime issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Support equipment upgrades, installations, and process improvements
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment (Allen Bradley experience preferred)
- Work closely with production teams to improve equipment performance and efficiency
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
Qualifications
- Industrial maintenance experience required
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with automated production equipment preferred
- PLC troubleshooting experience required
- Allen Bradley controls experience preferred
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience required
- Previous lead, supervisory, or team leadership experience
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience with conveyors, motors, sensors, relays, or automated systems preferred
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Standing and moving throughout the facility during the shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, climbing, and working around machinery
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
