Role Description The Office/Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Grayslake, IL, responsible for overseeing daily office functions and production-related administrative activities. This role coordinates order processing, scheduling, and workflow between sales, design, and manufacturing to ensure projects move smoothly from quote to delivery. The Office/Operations Manager manages office documentation, maintains inventory and purchasing records, and supports basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing and tracking payments. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, updating project status in internal systems,, and refining processes to improve efficiency and communication. The role also involves communicating closely with the fabrication team, enforcing safety and quality standards, and supporting leadership with operational planning and implementation.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in office administration, including scheduling, record-keeping, and document management.
- Experience with operations coordination, such as workflow management, order tracking, and inventory or purchasing support.
- Proficiency with productivity and management tools (e.g., Quickbooks a plus, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace,).
