Purpose of role: The Store Manager is responsible and accountable for managing all
operational aspects of the store to maximize sales and profitability through
exceptional customer service. This is hands-on, selling Store Manager role responsible
for both leading the team and achieving an individual sales quota. The Store Manager
actively contributes to store revenue while developing a high-performing sales team.
This role is committed to maintaining high professional standards across sales
performance, customer experience, visual presentation, inventory management,
store operations, and team development. The Store Manager leads by example on the
sales floor and upholds the company’s values and vision.
Key Job Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Maintain an individual sales quota and consistently achieve personal sales
goals
• Drive store performance to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets,
including personal and team goals
• Lead by example on the sales floor; actively engage customers and close sales
• Deliver a high level of customer service and resolve customer concerns
promptly and professionally
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to improve individual and team
performance
• Proactively step into the sales process to support team members in closing the
sale and follow up on pending quotes to maximize conversion
• Monitor store KPIs including conversion, average ticket, and revenue per
associate
• Monitor and ensure timely engagement with qualified leads in the CRM to
move prospects toward showroom visits and sales conversion
• Partner with the District Sales Manager on sales strategy, performance
expectations, and business needs
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and performance
management of store staff
• Provide ongoing feedback through daily coaching and formal performance
reviews
• Maintain a safe, clean, and visually appealing showroom environment
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational
standards
• Develop and execute sales plans to drive profitability and business growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Delivery, Warehouse, and
HR
• Utilize POS systems and operational tools effectively and train team members
as needed
• Communicate effectively in person, via phone, and in writing
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge to recommend solutions based on
customer needs
• Balance leadership responsibilities with direct sales contributions, maintaining
strong personal productivity
• Other related duties as assigned

Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience required
• 2 years of consultative sales experience required
• Prior customer service experience required
• 1–3 years of retail experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while assisting customers
• Ability to occasionally lift or move items up to 50 pounds
Compensation:
$44 per hour, plus eligibility for performance-based incentive bonus opportun
