Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Vision draftsman to join our custom cabinetry and woodworking team in San Fernando, CA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience creating detailed shop drawings, cut lists, and renderings using Cabinet Vision software. This role is key in ensuring projects are drawn accurately and efficiently for production.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed cabinet and millwork drawings using Cabinet Vision software
- Prepare cut lists, shop drawings, and renderings for approval and production
- Interpret architectural and designer plans into buildable drawings
- Coordinate with project managers, shop team, and installers to ensure accuracy
- Revise drawings as needed and maintain version control
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience working with Cabinet Vision (required)
- Strong knowledge of cabinet construction, woodworking, and materials
- Ability to read/interpret blueprints and architectural plans
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with shop staff and management
Preferred:
- Experience with CNC integration and optimizing cut lists
- Familiarity with custom cabinetry, closets, and millwork beyond standard cabinets
