Job Title: Quality Control Inspector 2
Job Description:
Perform the following with some supervision.
· Must demonstrate a good command of print reading, attention to detailed work instructions, and the ability to follow documentation of processes.
· Make visual inspection of products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements throughout the manufacturing process.
· Production: Long periods of sitting, looking through a microscope, reading drawings and procedures (both paper and electronic), and moderate repetitive motions.
· Maintain a demanding level of quality on machined parts for final finish prior to and during the plating processes.
· Good communication skills are a must. This position requires working with other team members in up- and down-stream operations: engineering, machining, deburr and masking.
· Computer entry work in our network and databases, as well as scanning documentation, uploading photographs and program equipment.
· Complete inspection records and reports.
· Follow all safety rules and practices.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
· HS Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of visual inspection experience working in a manufacturing environment.
· Perform visual inspection with the unaided eye, magnifier lamp or optical microscope.
· Perform mechanical inspection with calibrated measuring equipment.
· Knowledge of GD&T
