Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Part-Time Recruiter to join our team in Garden City, NY. In this role, you’ll play a key part in identifying and attracting talented tutors and team members who share our passion for education and can contribute to our company’s success.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective recruiting strategies to meet hiring needs
• Develop and update job descriptions and specifications with input from hiring managers
• Post job openings on job boards, colleges, and other platforms to source qualified candidates
• Use recruitment tools, social media, and networking to attract top talent
• Screen resumes and applications to identify strong candidates
• Conduct interviews using a variety of techniques (phone, video, in-person)
• Assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit
• Provide regular recruiting reports and updates to the team
• Build strong candidate relationships throughout the selection process
• Promote Curvebreakers as a “best place to work” in the education space

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience (in-house or agency)
• Proven ability to conduct structured interviews and evaluate candidates
• Experience with various selection methods (phone, video, reference checks)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Sound decision-making and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred
• Availability to work part-time in a hybrid schedule (some in-office hours in Garden City, NY)

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
