Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Construction Superintendent role based in Pampa, TX. The Construction Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations on utility infrastructure projects, including water, sewer, gas, and related civil works. Responsibilities include coordinating crews and subcontractors, planning daily activities, and ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The role involves reading and interpreting plans and specifications, managing materials and equipment, and resolving issues that arise in the field. The Construction Superintendent will monitor site safety practices, conduct inspections, communicate progress and challenges to project management, and maintain accurate field reports and documentation.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in Construction Site Management, including supervising crews, coordinating subcontractors, and overseeing daily field operations.
- Strong Construction Safety knowledge and experience enforcing safety policies, regulations, and best practices on active job sites.
- Effective Project Management and Budgeting skills to help maintain schedules, control costs, and support project planning and forecasting.
- Solid Organization Skills for managing documentation, scheduling, material deliveries, and communication with stakeholders.
- Experience with utility infrastructure projects (water, sewer, gas) is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and utility plans.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with field teams, vendors, inspectors, and project managers.
- Comfort working in outdoor construction environments and meeting the physical demands of site supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications in construction management or a related field are a plus.
