Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Clovis, NM, for a Teen Court Coordinator. The Coordinator will oversee the operations of the Teen Court program, including planning and facilitating activities and ensuring compliance with program policies. Responsibilities include coordinating with schools, community organizations, and law enforcement agencies; supervising court sessions; providing guidance to participants; maintaining accurate records; and conducting outreach to recruit participants and volunteers. The Teen Court Coordinator will play a key role in promoting youth engagement, accountability, and development through restorative justice practices.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in program coordination, project management, and organizing events.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in youth counseling, mentoring, or working with juvenile justice systems.
- Proficiency in maintaining records, creating reports, and using relevant software tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various organizations, including schools and local agencies.
