Cashier/Food Service/Cook

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier/food service/Cook candidate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions and building guests orders. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions with accuracy.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases.
• Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance sales.
• Maintain knowledge of store inventory and assist with stock management as needed.
• Build guests orders, grain bowls, salads & smoothies.
• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Perform prep and side work throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.
• Assist in training new cashiers and supervise their performance as required.
• Prepare and cook a variety of grilled foods according to established recipes.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding kitchen areas.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of grilling supplies and communicate needs to the manager.
• Help train new kitchen staff when needed.
• Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, feedback, and improvements

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred.
• Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members; bilingual skills are a plus.
• Proven ability to upsell products and contribute to sales growth.
• Food service, preparing guest orders is preffered.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
