About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Global Benefits and Retirement Specialist to join our HR team. This role is responsible for managing and administering our employee benefits and retirement programs globally, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and providing exceptional support to our workforce. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in benefits administration, retirement planning, and HR systems (ADP WorkforceNow, Tress).
- Design and administer global benefits programs (USA, China, UK, Mexico) such as health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement plans (401(k)), pension, savings funds.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits and retirement inquiries.
- Coordinate with vendors and carriers for enrollments, renewals, claims, and plan changes.
- Conduct benefits orientation for new hires and manage global annual open enrollment processes.
- Design and manage global annual wellness campaigns and education calendar.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (USA: ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA).
- Maintain accurate benefits records and audit enrollment.
- Manage leave management including FMLA, disability, and parental leave.
- Monitor benefits trends and recommend enhancements to improve employee satisfaction and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with payroll and HR teams to ensure accurate processing of benefits-related data.
- Manage audits, filings, and regulatory reporting.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions, resolving workplace issues, supporting performance management, and ensuring policies are applied fairly and consistently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years focused on benefits and retirement administration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- PHR certification strongly preferred; CEBS or SHRM-CP a plus.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments highly desirable.
- Proficiency in ADP HRIS platforms.
- Strong knowledge of benefits compliance and retirement plan regulations.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive employee data confidentially.
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
