What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technology Technician position at Current Lighting Employee Co LLC?
Responsible for executing new material listings for the Outdoor and Commercial properties 1MHV product lines. Main responsibilities include master data setup and integrating new products to Hendersonville’s manufacturing infrastructure.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures Data Master Data Settings are aligned with Current’s best practices. Ensure audits and maintenance processes exist to ensure sustainability of data integrity.
- Maintains all documentation of existing products including BOM’s and drawings utilizing AutoCAD, Solid Works 3D modeling, Configurator, SAP, and other related systems. Must maintain documentation to be compliant with all engineering standards, quality standards, and maintain UL requirements of the products.
- Creates BOM’s and drawings for all new products (NPI’s) in a manner to conform to the catalog number logic requirements and of the catalog number Configurator.
- Maintain product label information.
- Supports product integration to new and existing IT infrastructure. This includes troubleshooting legacy software issues and assisting in developing procedures to ensure product integration is streamlined and sustainable.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must feel comfortable taking on software/technical challenges that involve computers and automated devices in general.
- Exposure and experience with Hendersonville product families.
- Strong problem-solving skills with proven success in implementing solutions.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
- Detailed, analytical, and process oriented
- Ability to take complex situations and simplify for straight forward solutions.
DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:
- SAP/ERP experience.
- Bachelor’s degree desired, or 5years’ experience within manufacturing, distribution or fulfillment.
- Ability to establish and maintain a repetitive, standardized operating rhythm
- Technical background experience.
- CAD Software knowledge.
Compensation
The position has a compensation package inclusive of hourly rate, benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This hourly rate is $34.60.
