The Role
Curio Wellness is looking for a quality leader to own the quality programs at our Missouri cultivation and manufacturing facility, from the grow room to the final packaged product. The Quality Manager is responsible for driving quality programs for the facility and oversight of the analytical laboratory. This role is responsible for enforcing and improving the manufacturing & cultivation Quality Management Systems.
What You'll Do
Directly supervise the work activities of others and make recommendations concerning selection, termination, performance appraisal, and professional development. This position is also responsible for helping others and providing on-the-job training or guidance.

The Role

This role is responsible for enforcing and improving the manufacturing & cultivation Quality Management Systems.
What You'll Do
- Lead our Manufacturing & Cultivation Quality team and oversee our internal Analytical Laboratory
- Build and enforce GMP, GAP, and GACP standards across the site
- Run environmental monitoring, root cause analysis, and CAPA programs
- Review and approve Master Batch Records for release
- Lead internal and external audits and keep us compliant with DHSS and METRC requirements
- Partner with operations on quality kaizens and continuous improvement
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area
- Other duties as assigned

Required
What we're looking for:
- Must be 21 or older
- Quality Assurance experience (food manufacturing a big plus)
- Extensive QMS (quality management systems) experience
- Agriculture or cultivation background
- GMP / GAP / GACP experience
- Experience leading a technical team
- A BS/BA or 5 years of equivalent experience
- If you take Extreme Ownership of your work and want to build quality systems in a fast-moving, highly regulated industry, we'd love to meet you.
- Lean Manufacturing is a plus
- Familiarity with METRC, GMP, or ISO environments
- This position involves working with plant material, which may include exposure to pollen, allergens, and other plant-related substances.

- Wear required PPE (gloves, hairnet, gown, safety glasses, respirator)
- Work in an environment with strong plant odors, [temperature/humidity variation], and machine noise
