Hiring: Distribution & Logistics Specialist

Shift: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (8AM-5:00PM)
Base Pay: $20.00 to $22.50/hr.
Location: Rochester, NY 14564
Job Summary:
The Distribution & Logistics Specialist plays a crucial role in managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring efficient distribution operations within a small team environment. This position requires hands-on experience with inventory management and equipment, adherence to safety protocols, and proficiency in inventory and data management to maintain smooth receiving and shipping processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory accuracy and stock levels
- Fulfill and process orders promptly and accurately
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipping activities
- Receive goods and verify shipment contents
- Conduct quality control checks on products and shipments
- Replenish stock to optimize warehouse organization
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain records
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Operate equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks, when needed.
- Load and unload materials efficiently and safely
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse distribution, shipping, receiving, and inventory management, required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Experience with ERP systems and MS Office Suite Software, required.
- Prior experience with Forklift Operation, required; Certification, desired.
- Prior experience with pallet jack operation
- Prior experience with RF scanners, printing bar codes, desired.
- Desire to plant long-term roots with the organization.
