Position Summary
CURE Biomedical is seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician II to join our team. Under the guidance of the Account Manager, Site Supervisor, and senior technicians, the BMET II is responsible for inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating a wide range of clinical equipment and devices. This role requires a strong technical foundation, problem-solving skills, and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.
As a BMET II, you will be expected to work independently on a broad variety of clinical devices, support direct patient care operations, and contribute to training initiatives within the department.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and calibrate a broad range of clinical equipment and systems.
Provide advanced technical support for devices critical to patient care.
Collaborate regularly with clinical staff to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
Handle customer service inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
Maintain accurate service records, reports, and regulatory documentation.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
Manage financial aspects of equipment maintenance, including parts and service procurement.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate will possess:
2–3 years of hands-on experience independently servicing, maintaining, and calibrating medical equipment.
Experience working in a hospital or clinical healthcare environment.
Strong decision-making skills for diagnosing and repairing biomedical equipment.
Excellent communication, customer service, and time management abilities.
Familiarity with servicing clinical devices such as:
Vital signs monitors, defibrillators, EKGs, infusion pumps, telemetry units, ESUs
Patient monitoring systems, automated external defibrillators (AEDs), and ventilators (not all required)
Qualifications
Education: Associate degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline; or equivalent military or technical experience.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics, mechanical, or electro-mechanical repair within a healthcare technology setting.
