What are the responsibilities and job description for the Studio Assistant position at CURATED BASICS?
We are a small accessories brand based in Hoboken, NJ (close to 9th st lightrail 5-10 mins walk) is looking for a dependable and organized part-time seasonal studio assistant position from now until mid-January, possibly longer.
Studio located in Hoboken NJ, 10th st // Clinton area
Schedule and pay:
$20 per hour
2 days per week (Tuesday/Wednesday, Friday)
8 hours per day, flexible
Approximately 16 hours per week
In-person at our Hoboken studio
Consistent weekday availability preferred
Responsibilities:
Pick and pack Shopify and wholesale orders
Process orders and complete basic tasks within Faire
Receive, and organize incoming inventory
Update inventory and order information as needed
Assemble product packaging and prepare products for sale
Communicate with wholesale customers when necessary
Keep the studio clean, organized, and running smoothly
Help with product samples, photography setup, displays, and other studio projects
Assist with anything else that comes up in the day-to-day operation of the studio
What we’re looking for:
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Comfortable working independently and switching between different tasks
Able to follow packing, shipping, and inventory procedures
Comfortable using a computer and learning Shopify, Faire, and ShipStation
Able to lift and move cartons when needed
Previous e-commerce, wholesale, shipping, retail, or studio experience is helpful but not required
This is a hands-on, varied position in a small-business environment. Some days will focus on packing orders, while others may involve inventory, Faire, organizing products, or helping with whatever the studio needs that day.
