Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Public Relations Assistant to support our Public Relations team in executing communications strategies and initiatives. The ideal candidate will assist in managing media relations, drafting press materials, and monitoring media coverage. You will help ensure the company's message is clear, consistent, and positively received by the public.
Key Responsibilities:
- Media Relations: Assist in building and maintaining relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers. Monitor media coverage and industry trends to stay informed.
- Press Materials: Help prepare and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials to stakeholders.
- Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and managing PR events, product launches, media briefings, and other promotional activities.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and media opportunities. Assist with compiling reports on media coverage and campaign effectiveness.
- Administrative Support: Handle administrative duties related to public relations, including managing media lists, maintaining the press archive, and assisting in scheduling meetings and interviews.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
