Duties
- Be the face of the shop: Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections and ordering process at the front counter
- Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems
- Prepare a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following food safety and beverage standards
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently while processing cash transactions with basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness of the front counter, beverage station, and seating area through regular cleaning and food handling practices
- Serve food items such as bagels, spreads, and ice cream with attention to presentation and quality standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous food service or café experience is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude
- This is an early morning position starting between 6 and 7 am
- Must be reliable and have your own transportation.
- Be a hard worker and a team player
- Must have a positive attitude and show up not only ready to work, but happy to be there
- No Experience? No Problem: We’ll train the right person with the right attitude
Pay: From $15.92 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
