About the Role:
Cummings Properties, one of the nation’s most respected and financially stable commercial real estate companies, is seeking an accomplished, diligent, and caring administrative professional with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and polished presence to join its growing team.
This individual will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks while collaborating with team members from the purchasing, sustainability, design, construction/maintenance, and accounting departments. This is a full-time, in-office position, not remote or hybrid, working directly with senior management in a stimulating and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure contractor insurance requirements are met and maintained.
- Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and reports.
- Generate, review and process purchase orders and invoices.
- Issue work orders and create client invoices.
- Organize and track building data, including key dates and punch lists.
- Draft and communicate procedures to internal staff.
- Provide regular part-time receptionist coverage.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
- Thorough knowledge of common office administrative practices and equipment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
- Resourcefulness in identifying efficient, innovative solutions.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement.
- Excellent, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Property management experience is a plus.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Current or near-term residency in north-suburban Boston.
