Cummings Electrical is hiring a Procurement Specialist/Admin for our Integrated Manufacturing facility in Arlington, TX.
Cummings Electrical is expanding our Integrated Manufacturing team. We design and build custom, integrated, modular systems such as e-houses, electrical skids, HAC’s and UL 508A panels for a wide range of projects, including data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, and more.

Responsibilities
- Purchase finished goods and raw materials, such as electrical conduit, boxes, wire, fabricated parts, fittings, shop supplies, etc from local & global suppliers
- Make sourcing decisions that demonstrate a solid understanding of commercial terms, price quotes, discounts, schedules, etc
- Demonstrate business acumen to establish win-win agreements and relationships
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Resolve vendor related problems with quality, billing, delivery, and return issues
- Interact with various construction project teams and manufacturing facilities to ensure continuous supply of materials and deadlines are met
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualifications
- 2 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
- Computer savvy—experienced in using ERP/MRP systems and able to use the data to decrease the total cost of acquisition
- Must possess analytical skills in forecasting production needs and capacity
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Successful track record of troubleshooting, and resolving conflict in a way that is both assertive and diplomatic
- A collaborative working style that removes obstacles and promotes teamwork
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Proficient computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office (emphasis on MS Excel)
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass background check and drug/alcohol screening for access to all job sites
