What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor Technician position at Cumming Nursing Center?
Cumming Health & Rehab is currently seeking a Full-time Floor Technician.
Candidates must be able to work Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm. Every other weekend required.
Duties and Requirements :
- Maintains the floors in the facility including cleaning, stripping, waxing and buffing floors.
- Must be experienced operating floor cleaning & buffing machinery.
- Keeps equipment clean and in proper working condition.
- Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout the facility.
- Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
- Ensures the use of chemicals and other cleaning supplies is used in a safe and proper manner.
- Removes any trash or spills on floors.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
Requirements & Skills:
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- MUST have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a floor technician with experience buffing, stripping floors, waxing floors.
- Experience in a Long-Term Care facility or other medical facility is a plus.
